 Technical Support

We are constantly working to improve our products, and we keep your needs in mind. Currently, all of our utilities are freeware, and by tradition there is no official support for them. Of course, prior to release, they are tested as thoroughly as possible on our own computers under most if not all applicable OS versions.

The vast majority of common pitfalls and issues (and their workarounds, if any) are discussed in the fairly extensive 'Troubleshooting' sections of the 'Read Me' documents included in our various downloadable software packages. However, in the unlikely event that you do encounter a really major problem with any of these utilities (i.e., all hell breaks loose after installing or when using them), please write to us at the e-mail address indicated in the About Us > Contact Us subsection, or in the aforementioned 'Read Me' documents. Try to provide as many details of your system configuration (hardware, OS, third-party extensions, drivers, etc.) as you feel could be relevant. We will respond as quickly as possible.

 FAQs

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions from our users. [Should you have any question for which the answer is not provided here, or for which further clarification is desired, please see the Technical Support subsection.]

Question:
Is it necessary to pay a fee or to register to use any of these utilities? Are they "open source"?

Answer: Currently, all of our utilities are freeware, and there is no need to pay a fee or to register in order to use them. However, they are not (yet) "open source" nor in the public domain.

Question:
Is there source code available for any of these utilities?

Answer: At some point, hopefully in the near future, the releveant source code will be included with our freeware utilities. [We desperately need to set aside some time for code cleanup. :-)]
